Hyundai

Three Hyundai models are held in this database, on the same sourced specification set. They are the Hyundai Ioniq 5 84 kWh RWD, Hyundai Ioniq 6 Long Range RWD and Hyundai Ioniq 9 RWD. Observed real-world range runs from 450 km in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 84 kWh RWD to 495 km in the Hyundai Ioniq 6 Long Range RWD. On the EPA cycle the same cars rate 318 to 342 miles; that figure and the WLTP one are not comparable, which is what EPA against WLTP is about. Real-world efficiency, which is what decides the electricity bill, spans 149 to 178 Wh per km (the full efficiency ranking). Measured 10 to 80 per cent charging takes 17 to 24 minutes (every car ranked on that window). Every figure below names its source and the date it was read; the assumptions behind the cost arithmetic are on the methodology page. All of them run an 800 V pack, which is what lets a car use a 350 kW station at all. Cell chemistry varies across the range: NMC and NCM (what each one changes).

At a glance

This archive lists 3 vehicles with published specification data. The shortest and longest sourced ranges are EPA 318 to 342 mi, with each test cycle kept separate. The fastest sourced 10–80% DC charging time is 17 minutes. Usable battery capacities run from 74 to 107 kWh, and the sourced cell chemistries are NCM, NMC.
