Tesla

Five Tesla models are held in this database, on the same sourced specification set. They are the Tesla Cybertruck Long Range, Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD, Tesla Model 3 RWD, Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD and Tesla Model Y RWD. Observed real-world range runs from 380 km in the Tesla Model Y RWD to 555 km in the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD. On the EPA cycle the three of them with a US rating rate 327 to 346 miles; that figure and the WLTP one are not comparable, which is what EPA against WLTP is about. Real-world efficiency, which is what decides the electricity bill, spans 133 to 165 Wh per km (the full efficiency ranking). Measured 10 to 80 per cent charging takes 24 to 28 minutes (every car ranked on that window). Every figure below names its source and the date it was read; the assumptions behind the cost arithmetic are on the methodology page. All of them run a 400 V pack. Cell chemistry varies across the range: NMC and LFP (what each one changes).

At a glance

This archive lists 5 vehicles with published specification data. The shortest and longest sourced ranges are EPA 327 to 346 mi; WLTP 534 to 534 km, with each test cycle kept separate. The fastest sourced 10–80% DC charging time is 24 minutes. Usable battery capacities run from 60 to 79 kWh, and the sourced cell chemistries are LFP, NMC.
