Pickup

Five electric pickups are compared here on the measurements that decide running cost. They are the Chevrolet Silverado EV Max Range, Ford F-150 Lightning Extended Range, GMC Hummer EV Pickup 3X, Rivian R1T Dual Motor, Large pack and Tesla Cybertruck Long Range. On the EPA cycle the same cars rate 300 to 493 miles; that figure and the WLTP one are not comparable, which is what EPA against WLTP is about. A measured 10 to 80 per cent charge takes 49 minutes (how that compares). Every figure below names its source and the date it was read; the assumptions behind the cost arithmetic are on the methodology page.

At a glance

This archive lists 5 vehicles with published specification data. The shortest and longest sourced ranges are EPA 300 to 493 mi, with each test cycle kept separate. The fastest sourced 10–80% DC charging time is 49 minutes. Usable battery capacities run from 131 to 131 kWh, and the sourced cell chemistries are NCMA, NMC.
